Thoughts for Christchurch

Last week after the devastating quake hit Christchurch, Room Five students wrote down some of their thoughts...


I feel sorry for you. I hope you don’t need to cope up with any more earthquakes. From Toby.

I feel sorry for not just my family’s friend in Christchurch for everybody my thoughts are with you from Connor


Dear Christchurch,
For all who have died by that brutal earthquake in Christchurch please rest in peace for all your loved ones from Scott

Dear Craig I hope you are safe from the earthquake you are the best uncle in the world lots of love Devyn  

I hope every one is all right from Tim.

  1. I'm proud to have such thoughtful children at Makarewa. I think the whole world is in disbelief about the Christchurch earthquake and hoping that everyone is alright. You guys are doing heaps by welcoming our new students to school. Keep up the good work.
